Hi!

On selected weekends, I'll be baking:

A Little Bread, mostly naturally-leavened

A Little Cake

A Little Something Else

I'll post the coming week's attractions and their prices. Due to trojans entering my pages via my order email, orders are only opened to friends who know my personal email address. The previous order email address has been disabled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's fine to keep the cake and cookies/slices for a few days, but, the breads, having no improvers or additives stale within 2 days. If you wish to consume the breads during mid-week, pop it into the freezer (not fridge) and when you want to eat it, refresh 15 minutes in the oven. Those who wish to do so can let me know so that I can double-wrap the breads in foil and clingwrap at a nominal charge. Do not keep breads in the fridge; home refrigerators have a drying effect on them.

All bakes will be made from organic products where possible, i.e., ingredients like unbleached flours, oats, salt (I use either celtic sea salt or himalayan pink salt) and are skewed towards fibre-rich products. Water used will be reverse-osmosis filtered. Feedback and requests are heartily welcomed. See which sweet and bread is calling out to you. Ask, and you will receive.

My Favourite Bread Quotes: Good bread is more than an accompaniment or adjunct to other foods, for it helps to shape our enjoyment and perception of the dish we are eating it with. Soup, charcuterie and cheese are all reduced in its absence. A sandwich, no matter how fine the filling, can only ever be as good as the slices of bread that define it ~ Dan Lepard.
